Viewing the Coronavirus with Faith
As we continue to follow the governor's Safer at Home guidelines, each service will be livestreamed to Facebook on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. We hope you will join us! The previous streams can be seen and heard there as well. The Sunday message audio will be posted on our Sermons page later in the week.
Our decision to continue "social distancing" isn't a fear-based reaction. On the contrary, we are deeply concerned about inadvertently spreading the virus to members with compromised immune systems or those with other health-related issues (both young and old). The transmission rate of this virus appears to be especially high (with some reports around R3 or higher). Also, it appears that the incubation period (the time from catching the virus until showing definite flu-like symptoms) may well be over three weeks. In other words, it seems that you could have the virus without having any symptoms--and all the while you may be spreading it unknowingly to others. Because we love and care for you, we want to err on the side of safety.
Pastor Paul will continue to work from home during the week. If you need to contact us, we can still be reached by phone at 608-326-6959 and by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Pastor Paul Losik can be contacted at 608-306-0981 or email@example.com.
It's essential to continue to trust God in all situations and circumstances. No matter what we go through, he will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Please continue in prayer for all. We are praying for you, missing you, and looking forward to seeing you again!!!
